Hatteras provides full-service comic book printing for independent authors, publishers, studios, and organizations. Our services include single- or multiple-issue comic printing, graphic novel printing, trade paperbacks, and special editions, all produced in-house for consistent quality and reliable turnaround times.

The page count must be a multiple of 4, excluding the cover. The number of pages determines the available binding options (for example: saddle-stitching for up to 40  pages; perfect binding for 48+ pages).

We print all of the most common comic book sizes.  We also support custom trim sizes if requested.  

A “self-cover” means the cover of the comic book is printed on the same paper as the interior pages, rather than using a separate, heavier cover stock. This option is often used for shorter runs or a more cost-effective option. 

We offer multiple binding options, including saddle-stitched comic books, perfect-bound, or spiral-bound.  

Most comic book interior pages are printed on coated paper to achieve vibrant color and showcase the sharp artwork. Covers typically use heavier coated stocks, and sometimes they include lamination or UV coating. We can work with you to select paper that balances visual impact, durability, and cost.

Hatteras is G7 Certified, which supports accurate and consistent color reproduction across multiple print runs. This is especially important for ongoing comic book series and graphic novel reprints.

Typical turnaround time for comic book printing is 2–3 weeks after proof approval. Production timelines may vary based on quantity, binding, and finishing options. Rush production may be available.

Hatteras provides print, pack, and ship services for comic books, including bulk shipping, drop shipments, and inventory storage, helping streamline distribution.

New customers typically make a 50% deposit, with the balance due upon shipment. We accept checks, ACH, Venmo, and all major credit cards. Approved customers may qualify for Net 30 terms.
